Virtual Arbitrations
Thanks to COVID-19, courts and their schedules have been thrown into disarray. An overwhelming majority of courts across Ohio have either closed or managing extremely restricted dockets, like emergency matters.
A viable and readily available solution is the Virtual Arbitration. Utilizing video conferencing services, such as Zoom, parties can agree to arbitrate their dispute before one or more arbitrators while never having to be in the same room. While not ideal, virtual arbitrations are a way to move a matter forward in a time where stagnation is the rule of the day.
